My Homepage:
On your homepage you can see all of your Joint Equity property reservations. If you have not yet made any reservations on Joint Equity properties the reservations table will be empty. If you click the Property link, you will be taken to the list of all currently available Joint Equity properties. You will find a link to available Investor downloads in the left hand menu bar on your screen. This has all the necessary information for first-time Joint Equity Investors. If you are totally new to Joint Equity, please download the Investors Information Pack before moving on to the properties. Be sure to check you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your pc either as stand-alone software or as a plugin in your browser.
Property:
To view all the currently available Joint Equity properties, please click the Property link on the left hand navigation. You will be able to browse the list of properties page by page and see outline information on each property, including the status of the property.
If you wish to see more detail on a particular property, click 'full view'
To add the property to your watch list click 'watch'.
To make a reservation on the property click 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the status box.
Property Full View:
The full view for each property shows all the images and detail for that property, and an updated status for the same property. The property status indicators show:
- How many Investor reservations have been placed on the property (we accept up to 3 Investor reservations).
- How many Owner Illustrations have been done for this property.
If it has been activated, clicking on the 'view on estate agents website' link will take you to the estate agent's own website, where you will be able to search for the property by it's address.
How Investor Reservations Work:
Joint Equity will accept up to 3 reservations for each property. If you are the 1st reserver for a property, you are the first in line to become the Investor-Partner for that property when the purchase is agreed, if you are the 2nd reserver you will be called on if the 1st reserver is unable to complete, etc.
You will not be required to pay a fee when making a reservation unless you wish to become the 1st reserver of a property which already has an Owner-Partner, at which point your refundable Commitment Deposit will become payable.
To make a reservation, please click the 1st, 2nd or 3rd button next to your chosen property.
Your reservations will be coloured yellow, reservations taken by another Investor will be coloured red, and available reservations will be coloured blue.
How Owner Illustrations work:
The number of Owner Illustrations done on a particular property is a good indication of that property's desirability amongst Joint Equity Owner-Partners.The figure shown indicates the total number of Illustrations that Owners have carried out on the particular property. Illustrations are 'for example' scenarios developed by individual Owners to give them an idea of what a particular property might cost them under The Joint Equity Scheme, and what share of the property they would be able to purchase.
Because Owners use Illustrations to give them an idea of what is possible, an Illustration does not mean that an Owner is going to make an offer on the property, but rather that they might wish to if that property were within their financial reach.
Watch List:
The watch list is where you can keep track of particular properties that you are interested in, without needing to make a reservation on them.To add a property to your watch list, simply click the 'watch' button next to the property when you are browsing the property listings.
To view your watch list, click on the 'My Watch List' link in the left hand navigation bar.
To remove a property from your watch list, go to your watch list and click 'Stop Watching', next to the specific property.
